Isaac looked so handsome (and gorgeous!) in his little preemie going home outfit. The girls had fun helping mommy get him all ready. They couldn't wait to finally bring their baby brother home. We didn't end of leaving the hospital until alittle before 9pm Sunday night--mom was moving a bit slow (in a lot more pain than with the girl's deliveries), had to take lots of pictures (big surprise!), and they had to do the PKU test over because they lost the first test! As we drove off from the hospital, Jason and I looked at eachother and knew exactly what the other was thinking--"We are officially a family of FIVE!" The girls cheered with excitement! Then we all sang "Happy Birthday" to Isaac Jace Thacker. It was a pretty exciting drive home-- the girls were all over the job of checking on Isaac, about every couple of minutes the lights would go on to make sure he was doing okay. When we got home, we had to introduce the new baby to our little dog, Abbey. She was very nervous and didn't know what to think of Isaac, but has done very well adjusting to him being around. My mom had dropped off chicken enchiladas earlier that day (as we were hoping to be home by 5pm!) and what a blessing that was to have a nice meal ready, although the girls opted for cold cereal instead! Then we got the girls off to bed, as they both decided they wanted to go to school the next day to share the happy news. Isaac's first night home went very well, as he slept in bed next to mommy most of the night!
